purchased many items from other E-tailers but never something as
expensive as a plasma TV. I talked to your customer service about how you
can offer such good prices, shipping, damaged goods and returns and every
answer was to my satifaction. I ordered my Pioneer PDP50-70HD on 01/08
(Friday) and on Monday the freight company called to schedule delivery.
The TV was deleiverd exactly when it was promised and in perfect
condition. I have finished the installation and I still am in awe of the
fantastic picture this television has!!

I received the subject order (Panasonic TH-50PX60U) on Friday afternoon, 7 April 2006.
The originating shipper was Stonepath Logistics and the delivery shipper was J&P Hall Express (Macon, GA). I viewed the tracking status of the shipment on the Stonepath web site and also spoke to one of their representatives by phone. The information I received was very good, and the Stonepath rep was very helpful and pleasant during our conversation.
On Friday morning, I received a call from Hall Express in order to set up a delivery appointment. The representative I spoke with on the phone also turned out to be the delivery person. He arrived at my house five minutes early! He unloaded the TV from the truck, and together we carried the TV inside my front door. No muss, no fuss. He and I examined the box as requested in your receiving instructions (“tip and tell” indicator, box condition, case/bezel examination). Everything was perfect. There was no indication that the box had even been moved. (Thank goodness UPS or FedEx was not involved.) Bottom line: Delivery was flawless!!!
Once the delivery man departed, I anxiously read the owner’s manual and set up the TV (with the borrowed muscle of a good friend). The TV was easy to set up, and we were watching the Masters highlights in no time. Wow, what a gorgeous picture.
I am looking forward to many years of outstanding HD viewing.

I purchased my plasma monitor in October of 2005 and am very satisfied
with it in every way. I can not say enough for DTV City, I was treated
very well and delivery was very prompt and the delivery service
utilized by DTV City was also very courteous. I would not hesitate to

Panasonic plasma unit is probably the best I could find price wise and

WOW! I am glad I researched and waited for the Toshiba 52HMX95 DLP TV.
The staff at DTV City was very pleasant to deal with. Good follow-up
with e-mail and telephone calls. The shipping company driver was very
helpful. He let me check out the TV and even helped carry it into my
home. The 52HMX95 DLP TV was light enough for 2 people to move it. I
was actually a little worried that since it was so light that it
would not deliver the picture I had expected. Not to worry! I have a
cable box with DVI-D out, I hooked that up to the TV using the HDMI
input. The picture was a knock-out, even in the daylight with
sunlight streaming into the living room I have to say the picture was
breathtaking! The HDTV channels were sharp and clear. The colors were
reproduced very faithfully. The TV arrived just in time to see Monday
night football! A great experience indeed in HD! The remote is very
user friendly and the TV is easy to adjust. The sound provided by the
built-in speakers is excellent. But the picture is so great I will
finally upgrade to 5.1 surround sound! The TV itself is all black.
Very easy on the eyes and makes for a dramatic addition to any living
or media room.
I have also purchased the latest Toshiba DVD player which uses the
other HDMI input. The HDMI to HDMI cable going from the DVD player to
the DLP TV carries both the audio and video signals!
The DVD picture on the 52HMX95 is also sharp and clear and will
provide many hours of entertainment as those DVD\'s see new life!
Over all I would rate the service and product from DTV City to be
top-notch!

I ordered my plasma tv through DTVCity on the 6th of June.I was told
it may take 7-9 days to receive my plasma. On the 8th of June my
plasma showed up. I was really impressed with the shipment arriving
so quickly. The delivery person even helped me get it into my house.I
read the directions and within 1 hour I had my plasma hung on the wall
and up and running. The picture of this model is by far one of the
best I have ever seen.I would have to say this purchase and the

I was hesitant to make such a large purchase over the internet. DTVCity was not the
least expensive place to get the set on line, but the service, 30 day
replacement warranty, inspection instructions for when the set arrives
and their experience selling and shipping these TV's sold me.
I could not be more pleased with the product and service. We ordered
the TV on Tuesday and it actually arrived earlier than expected on
Friday (we were told it would arrive middle of the following week).
The delivery driver helped me get the set in the house and clearly
understood the inspection requirements. He patiently allowed me to
inspect the set as per the instructions from DTVCity prior to me
signing for the set.

DTV City is a quality retailer - being in the customer service
business for a major Telecom for 13 years, I don't use that term
loosely. I did my homework on the product and on-line retailers, from
their customer reviews and independent forums(google it). While DTV
City was not the absolute lowest priced, they had the best balance of
price and customer satisfaction. When I had questions on shipping, I
could talk to the same person each time (Thank You Tiffany!). I was a
little worried shipping from Atlanta to Phoenix, but no issues. The
long haul carrier(ALG Admiral) provided online status and the handoff
to the local delivery company was solid - each provided good
communication and service for $169 curbside(very fair considering the
cargo value). Packaging was excellent, tip and tell was good, and the
driver was very courteous(Sun Devil Freight).
All around good value and transaction experience; great product,
price, and customer service from DTV City and their vendors. I will
recommend and buy again from DTV.

I purchased the 42PX25 from DTVCity after exhaustive research on both
the TV and the places to buy them. I wanted the HDTV tuner built in
and liked the photo viewer and cable card features. The reviews were
good. As for DTVCity, I chose them because they were authorized,
based in Atlanta, had good reviews and their web site and
advertisements on Google made me believe they were legit. There were
New York based sites offered the set at a few hundred dollars less,
but they all had reviews that were terrible and they had what
appeared to be bogus positive reviews. My TV arrived as promised.
The driver wheeled it up my driveway to my garage even though the
agreement was curbside. He stayed until I opened it and the tip
sensor was good. The set was in perfect shape. It took 3 of us to
get it on the wall but it is awesome.
I bought the TV, the Peerless wall mount and the antenna all on line
without talking to a human. Everything came as promised and all are
in working order. It could not have gone better.
The price dropped a little after I made my purchase. I'm going to
ask for a credit which I'll use for a cable or two. I hope they'll
agree.
Bottom line: DTVCity has a good web site and they followed through on
all their advertised procedures. I am extremely happy with them as a
company and I'm happy with this TV.

We just had a good experience ordering two excellent Panasonics: The
TH-50PHD7UY and a TH-42PHD7UY.
The money: I was very concerned about such a large purchase and
considered using an escrow company. However, I overcame the fear
because of the authorized dealership proof, the bricks and morter
location connected to the internet presence, the quality of the
website, and the professional handling of my calls by the sales
staff. Payment was simple using a credit card. Being such a large
order the credit card company needed verification and the DTV City
staff handled this very professionally.
Delivery: Shipment was out from Atlanta within a day and arrived on
the West Coast within 3 days. Getting it from L.A. to Santa Barbara
took 3 days, but tracking was easy, the advance phone calls alerted
us to delivery which was on time and the pallet and boxes were in
perfect shape. The delivery fellow put the pallet in our garage.
Overall delivery exceeded our expectations.
Out of the box: Set up was easy and we mounted them on articulating
Peerless arms which went smoothly. Panasonic has a great system for
unpacking the plasmas. It takes two people, my wife and I, both 52,
were fine to handle it.
Connections: Originally I planned for RCA component hook-ups, but
thankfully the sales person alerted me to the need for BNC connectors
on the back of the plasmas. I ordered the HDMI connector modules, but
I am not sure these are much help. The component connection from a
COX set top box and a Denon DVD provideds very true to life color,
depth and grayscale. You can rely on component hook-up, HDMI may not
be available as an output unless your gear is 2005 or later.
Quality: The 42" and the 50" both are equally excellent. We got
the speakers for the 42" and have the 50" in a surround set up.
The speakers are pretty good, and are perfect for a bedroom, but no
match for a good theater set up. The set does quite well with regular
and digital TV signals as well as HD or DVD.
Remotes and miscellaneous: There is new vocubulary to learn and some
getting used to the inputs and aspect selections. The menus and
remote are good, but we've needed to do a bit of "figuring it
out." However, we are in the learning curve and it is getting
easier every day. The picture is certainly remarkable. There may be
some better plasmas out there, but these Panasonics seem perfectly
wonderful to us.
Conclusion: Spending so much money over the internet turned out not
to be a big worry with DTV City. The merchandise was as promised, the
time frame was as promised and the price is lower than buying in town.
Highly recommended.

I purchased my 50" Panansonic Plasma a few weeks ago from DTV City.
The delivery was excellent. The driver was completely cooperative,
helped me get the TV into my house and even helped me with the
inspection. Although I was given very specific instructions in case
he didn't cooperate, thankfully they weren't necessary. Finally,
after getting all of the mounting equipment needed (adapter plate and
wall mount made by Peerless, RCA-BNC adapters for my component video)
the TV is up and running. Big suggestion...make sure you have at
least 3 people helping you to mount the TV. Although it's just 100
lbs., it is awkward trying to get it into place with just two.
The first chance I got to see it in action was the Masters. This was
an amazing experience. The widescreen greens of the fairways and the
majesty of the course were magnificant and sharp. Seeing Tiger's
ball sit on the edge of the cup before falling in was spectacular.
You could see his name on the ball. We have this TV in a room that
is about 15 x 10 and it is perfect. Even analog stations are easy on
the eye although I'm going to consider satellite instead of cable
since I've heard digital signals are sharper. HD is unbelievable!
I can't wait for more stations/networks to go HD.
After just a few days, we love this TV and look forward to many years
of enjoying it. Thanks DTV for a great experience and a wonderful
price on a super TV!

I bought the TV online from DTVCity and am very favorably impressed despite the problem with my initial shipment. That shipment arrived damaged. DTV ships quite carefully and the crating was completely intact but, as I later discovered, the "blue beads" to be checked on the Tip-and-Tell indicator in fact refer to the indicator's background. I was looking for beads,or even fluid, and did not realize that an all-blue indicator was a sign of trouble. I see that DTV's current mailings to customers go to some pains to describe exactly what to look for--a welcome improvement. In any event, DTV was thoroughly professional when I contacted them to alert them to the damaged unit. A replacement was sent straightaway--which arrived in fine shape--and DTV's representative remains in touch with me to ensure proper and orderly return of the damaged unit.
I think the most essential ingredient in buying such a large-ticket item online (or by phone, for that matter) is confidence in the professionalism and reputation of the dealer.DTVCity did not have the best price for this unit, nor did it carry the HDTV receiver that I wanted to purchase with it. Nevertheless, I decided to give my business to DTVCity because of its prominently posted replacement and return policy, its pains in displaying its BBB credentials, and testimonies (available onsite and elsewhere) from satisfied customers. I am to date very happy with my experience with DTV and its representatives.

The TV came by truck via AG Admiral delivery service. The driver called
me at work and I met him at my home, and we carried it in together. The
box showed no signs of damage, which was one of my big worries, and the
TV inside was in perfect condition. It was boxed in two boxes, one inside
the other. Even if it had been mistreated in shipment, the TV would have
been well-protected. The tip and tell indicator showed the tv had never
been on it's side and the driver was helpful in checking for damage, there
was none.
I was very reluctant to spend so much money on a TV
I had never seen, and would be shipped to me by truck.
I have to say, it was more convenient than going to
a big-box appliance store, and I think we got a better
product and a better price. Those places always get
my blood boiling! I just placed the order on-line, I
received an email confirmation with instructions to
contact DTVCity to arrange delivery. I called on Saturday
and was surprised to get an answer. By Monday, the tv
was on it's way and I got it on Thursday. I made a
mistake on the wall-mount, I called and got it straightened
out. The customer service was pretty good, and nothing
was delayed. I think this is not a bad way to buy a TV,
especially if you hate high-pressure salesmen and don't
mind to do the research required to get the right product
for you. That's me, and I'm happy!

The TV was extremely well protected and delivered to my door by a carrier. This was a concern of mine since I know that the TV would be somewhat fragile. The Panasonic plasma TV was well packaged. It was packed in a box inside another box. Panasonic knew what they were doing when they designed the box.
This is actually the second Plasma TV that I have purchased. The first unit was not from DTV as I wasnt familiar with them at the time I bought my first unit. I can say the experience was better this time around. I spoke to a slaesperson who checked inventory for me, gave me a delivery date and actually beat the date given to me. Price was right in line and I didnt get hit with any pressure to buy additinal items or warranties or anything else.

Picture Quality - Describing with different inputs:
The picture quality is excellent. I went with the EDTV vs the HDTV but get a high definition signal through my satellite and the picture (especially on the High Definition stations) is great. The connections were easy to use and set up was quick. I only wish there was more than on component input for the way I have my system set up.
The speaker less design worked perfectly for my mounting location. The all black look also works well for where we have it mounted above the fireplace.

The shipping was a worry for me considering the expense of the purchase, etc. but the shipping was great and I had no problems. The shipping company kept me informed and arrived as scheduled. I was a little worried that the driver would not understand the need for me to inspect everything before accepting the shipment, but he was actually very patient and very helpful to make sure no damage had occurred during shipment.
The whole experience was great. I was a little nervous about purchasing such a large item on-line, but everything went very smooth. The TV was packaged in a heavy duty craft carton with heavy supporting styrofoam. It was shipped by common carrier with a Tip n Tell indicator that did not show the carton had been shipped. It arrived here OK, the trucking company delivery driver was great, and helped me unpack the TV to see if there was any damage, etc. There was no visible damage anywhere, and I was very well satisfied with the delivery.
I first compared the different brands that DTVCity was offering on-line, and reviewed several models and the features and benefits of each, along with the pricing. The Panasonics were being offered with an extra year of extended warranty. I called DTVCity on the phone and talked to a customer service rep/salesman. I had pretty much made up my mind to buy a Panasonic, and when I asked the guy for his opinion, he thought the Panasonics were the way to go. I ended up ordering the TH-42PX25U/P directly on the phone with him. DTVCity had the best overall package of the 4 on-line authorized TV Sellers that I compared. The 30 day return/replacement guarantee and the extra year warranty were the determining factors for DTVCity. I would highly recommend DTVCity.

The packaging was excellent. A double thickness cardboard box with styrofoam inserts on a pallet. The shipping was fine but the shipper refused to let me inspect the tv without signing for it first.
The technical questions i asked were all answered appropriately and service was first rate. The only question that was not answered fully was how the tv handled the 720p broadcasts and how they made it a full screen projection. My questions about the warranty were answered in every detail. I felt much better knowing that your site is an authorized distributor and that the warranty package was really complete. These were the two main reasons I purchased from DTVCity.com.

My TV was packaged and shipped via a third party carrier. The carrier was very responsive, nice and timely. The only compliant was that the "do not tip" indicator was missing from the box. As of now, I have discovered no problems with the TV.

The plasma TV came extremely well packed. It was double boxed with special boxes that allowed easy removal of the display without destroying the shipping containers. The shipment arrived via truck. The TV was packaged very well. The use of tip indicators is a brilliant idea. I was very apprehensive about ordering such an expensive item by web, but was pleasantly surprised at how DTV City has mastered the art of delivering these big fragile items.
Let me start with the ordering process. Everything was very easy. The site was very educational and the links to other sites helped me choose the model. Once I placed the order I received an email confirmation followed by a phone confirmation. This was followed by an e-mail on what I should expect.
After I received the product, DTVCity followed up to make sure the product met my expectations. It was a great shopping experience. I definitely would recommed buying plasma TVs with this company.

The Packaging was tremendous. Heavy duty cardboard inside of heavy duty cardboard with many protective styrofoam buffers. Box had a tip gauge to verify the unit had not been layed flat or upside down. Very satisfied...shipment was on time and driver was very helpful and knowledgeable.
I did a lot of research about what type of flat screen to purchase and easily determined that Plasma was the way to go. After shopping around, I asked a friend for mfg advise. He not only suggested Panasonic, but also hooked me up with several online sources. The determining factor for choosing DTVCity was the 5 year extended warranty deal as all of the other online sources had essentially the same price for the TV I wanted. I was apprehensive making such a large 'investment' over the phone. However, it was very easy and turned out to be a great decision as the set was in perfect condition, delivered on schedule and I save a couple thousand dollars vs retail shopping. I would recommend DTVCity highly.

Package by the manufacture with a tilt meterr on the side to determine any damage in shipping which of course did not happened and shipped via in town service as I live Atlanta.

TV arrived shrink wrapped to a supporting wooden pallet. When shrink-wrap removed, TV was seen to be in original Toshiba shipping box. Removed top of box and observed that padding for inside of box was far less than I would have expected. Removed TV and inspected, and it was in perfect shape, so guess packing was all that was needed. All accessories were in box as expected. Paid for inside delivery, and driver helped carry it from front door to TV table (only 30 feet, but still nice gesture). Delivery was right on schedule.
I did a lot of Internet research on online TV retailers before picking DTVCity. They consistently received the best satisfaction rating from customers. I liked the extra 1-year warranty included in price and the 30-day return policy. Ordering was very easy, and the set was delivered in perfect shape and within a week of ordering it. Price was much better than any local brick and mortar shop could offer. Very happy with the whole experience so far.

The TV arrived exactly as all the information on your web site said it would – attached to a pallet, black shrink wrap, tip indicator (NOT TIPPED) packed with lots of styrofoam in it’s box. It was delivered by AIT from Orlando Florida to my garage where I inspected the TV before signing the receipt; the driver was very helpful and courteous.
The purchase was handled very professionally and I was informed of the progress in detail every step of the way. Everyone that made contact with me was very helpful and pleasant and I appreciated all the information about my order. My TV was delivered via freight truck in a huge box with the crate attached. The companies name was ALG Admiral and the tracking number was 823713 called ahead to let me know what time they would be coming. There was a tip tell signal indicator on the box which was shrink wrapped
My purchase experience was wonderful. I look on line to see what TV I wanted DTVCity explained in detail the dimensions of the TV which help me measure at home. I brought the TV as a surprised for my husband and boy was he surprised. The company did and excellent job of communicating with me about my invoice and when my item was going to be shipped. The LCD was packaged very secure and had a tilt monitor attached to the box so that you could tell if it had not been handled properly before reaching its destination.
The shipper delivered it inside the door, I checked the tilt monitor - all was ok, checked the product for visible signs of any cracks, etc. Everything was perfect; DTVCity will choose a reputable shipping company and one that is closest to your homes location.
The delivery person was very professional and helpful; DTVCity will have them call you to schedule the delivery on the day of your choice

I spent about a month researching the different types of plasma TV on the market. After selecting the Panasonic TH-37PWD, I still had a few questions so I phoned DTVCity and they answered the phone very quickly (no hold time) and answered my questions. I placed the order on a Saturday and received email notification of my order with tracking number on the following Tuesday and received the TV the following Saturday, which I thought was very fast considering what was being shipped. I was also emailed a copy of the invoice and detailed instructions on how to inspect the shipment when it arrived. The inspection instructions were very good and easy to understand. I had one question after I set up the TV and DTVCity replied to my email within a day.
The TV was packaged very well and was received within 5 business days of placing the order in perfect condition. The outside of the box is tagged with a "tip and tell" indicator which will indicate if the box has been tipped by the freight personnel. DTVCity emailed me very good instructions regarding how to correctly inspect the box/TV and how to deal with any issues such as box dents, an activated tip and tell, or a delivery person who is unwilling to wait for me to inspect the box/TV.

I was happy to deal with DTVCity over the phone but was somewhat frustrated that it wasn't possible to browse pricing online (having to call seems too old-fashioned). We were slightly frustrated by the website's shipping information since the website indicated it was possible to expedite ship plasma TVs. But, when I called, the rep at DTVcity said that was a website error. Overall, however we were pleased to receive the TV just 3 days after it was ordered, which was faster than we expected for regular shipping.
The TV was shipped by DHL ground and arrived the day after it was shipped from Brooklyn, NY. The TV was substantially packaged and the box it arrived in was fully intact.

They said that they carried all stock in house and that it was no problem. That afternoon I had a tracking number. Shipping was a flawless process. Misti even went out of her way to find a silver table stand. The shipping was then expedited because I had a party that weekend, and everything arrived on time. Fantastic service! Awesome display!

Ultimately, it came down to the fact that their net price was the lowest I could find anywhere and their helpfulness was the best! Although here in Seattle we have several chains that sell some Plasma sets and one store that deals exclusively in them, nearly all of the background information that I needed to make an informed decision on plasma, HDTV, cabling, digital TV, etc. was from sources on the internet supported by DTVCity.com.
This was much better than my experiences with local chain retailers who often tended to be condescending or ill-informed. This purchase was an extravagance to me and I certainly did not want to spend that much money without doing my homework. Without DTVCity.com's help, I probably would not have purchased a plasma set, thinking there were too many unknowns. I am glad I bought from them. I was especially impressed by the quick delivery (same as my local dealer had promised) and the excellent packaging that NEC uses---the shipping carton was well designed to prevent damage in shipment and the shipper DTVCity.com used was very careful and not a corner of the carton was damaged. I bought the TV online from DTVCity and am very favorably impressed despite the problem with my initial shipment. That shipment arrived damaged. DTV ships quite carefully and the crating was completely intact but, as I later discovered, the "blue beads" to be checked on the Tip-and-Tell indicator in fact refer to the indicator's background. I was looking for beads,or even fluid, and did not realize that an all-blue indicator was a sign of trouble. I see that DTV's current mailings to customers go to some pains to describe exactly what to look for--a welcome improvement. In any event, DTV was thoroughly professional when I contacted them to alert them to the damaged unit. A replacement was sent straightaway--which arrived in fine shape--and DTV's representative remains in touch with me to ensure proper and orderly return of the damaged unit.
I think the most essential ingredient in buying such a large-ticket item online (or by phone, for that matter) is confidence in the professionalism and reputation of the dealer.DTVCity did not have the best price for this unit, nor did it carry the HDTV receiver that I wanted to purchase with it. Nevertheless, I decided to give my business to DTVCity because of its prominently posted replacement and return policy, its pains in displaying its BBB credentials, and testimonies (available onsite and elsewhere) from satisfied customers. I am to date very happy with my experience with DTV and its representatives.
